Talky Marketing Communications Consent

This text covers one thing only: Talky sending you marketing messages. Your consent is entirely optional. If you don't give it, every Talky feature, including Talky Plus, works exactly the same. This is an English rendering of the Turkish text at talky.cat/pazarlama-izni; if the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.
What you agree to
That Ata Kılıç, the data controller, may send you promotional messages about Talky, such as campaigns, discounts, Talky Plus offers and announcements of new features, by app notification and email.
For this we use: the email address linked to your Talky account, your push token, your app language, your time zone, and whether you have Talky Plus (so we don't offer a subscription to someone who already has one).
Notifications are delivered by 650 Industries, Inc. (Expo, US) through Apple and Google push services; this transfer relies on the standard contract published by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board. If we start using an email delivery service for marketing emails, we will update this text and the Privacy Policy before the first send.
Your consent counts both as explicit consent under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and as approval for commercial electronic messages under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce. Where the law requires it, your approval may be recorded in Türkiye's Message Management System (İYS).
What you don't agree to
Service notifications, such as practice reminders, streak and quest alerts, the weekly summary, a trial about to end or an exam ready, are not covered by this consent; your phone's notification permission and the reminders switch in Settings › Preferences control those. This consent does not allow any other use of your data, and we never sell it.
How to withdraw
You can withdraw at any time, without giving a reason:
- in the app, by turning off the marketing switch in Profile › Settings › Privacy,
- through the unsubscribe link at the end of every marketing email,
- or by writing to ata@kilicov.dev.
Withdrawal takes effect for the future, and messages stop within 3 business days at the latest. Messages already sent are not affected.
Records and retention
When you give or withdraw consent, we record it with the document version, time, app version, platform, language and method. We keep that record for 10 years after you delete your account, to show that you gave or withdrew consent. Everything else about how your data is processed, and your rights, is in the KVKK Notice and the Privacy Policy.
To Talky sending me campaign, discount and offer messages by app notification and email as described above, and to my personal data being processed for that purpose:
